YNGLING Team members:

  • Sarah Ayton (Helm) DoB 9 April 1980  - Gold
  • Sarah Webb (Crew) DoB 13 January 1977  -  Gold
  • Pippa Wilson (Crew) DoB 7 February 1986  -  Gold

LASER RADIAL - 10th place overall

Penny Clark is sailing the Laser Radial - she was born 7 May 1975 and lives in Lee on Solent, Hampshire.Penny beat of three other contenders for the chance to go to the 2008 Olympics. She finished fourth at both the Sydney International Regatta and Miami Olympic Classes events and seventh in the Laser Radial World Championships in 2008. She has been to Qingdao before where she won a bronze medal in the 2006 Test Event. - We hope she can get another bronze (at least) in 2008.  Womens 470Team members: 6th place overall

  • Christina Bassadone (Helm)  DoB 27 December 1981
  • Saskia Clark (Crew) DoB 23 August 1979
Christina went to the 2004 Olympics in Athens and sailed into seventh place with her crew Katherine Hopson. However, since teaming up with Saskia, who will be making her olympic debut, the duo have achieved two world championship podium finishes - silver in San Fransisco in 2005 and bronze in Cascais, Portugal in 2007.
