·  What should I take with me Offshore Sailing?

Offshore sailing Kit List - Sleeping bag, Pillow (optional), Night clothes & teddy - Wet weather clothes (jacket with hood or separate hat, trousers) ? good quality waterproofs are provided, Woolly hat, Wellingtons (sailing type preferred), Sailing gloves if you have them - Underwear - Socks - Wash Kit ? soap/shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush/comb etc, Sun cream, lipsalve, hanky - Swim wear (!) you never know the weather might be glorious, Towel - Arrive in uniform ? navy trousers, white polo shirt or square rig and navy sweatshirt - Trousers for sailing (not jeans as if they get wet they take a long time to dry ? tracksuit bottoms or similar are ideal) - Tops for sailing, layering is best (T-shirts x 2 ? sweatshirts ? fleeces etc) ? it is always colder on the water than the land - Shoe with a good grip i.e. trainers, deck shoes - Shorts - Sunhat/cap and sunglasses - Jeans or similar, top etc in case we go ashore on Saturday evening, Tea towel, Camera ? optional, Torch, All packed in a soft holdall for easy of stowage
